James P. Gibbs, CPA

James P. Gibbs has been an accounting professional for over 30 years, helping individual and closely held companies reach their financial goals. James stresses his commitment to his clients and takes a personal interest in helping his clients understand and navigate through difficult, sometimes complex, tax and accounting problems.

James P. Gibbs is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles, class of 1980. James worked at Kenneth Leventhal & Co. (since has merged with Ernst & Young) in their Century City offices. James worked in private industry as a controller for a regional real estate developer. Since 1988, he has provided varied accounting services to businesses and individuals nationwide.

James was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley where he is known as devoted family man and it is here that embraced the community where he raised his six children. He has been involved in AYSO Soccer, Boy Scouts of America, his Church community and his childrens’ schools.

When James is not working or occupied with his family he enjoys fishing, cheering on the Lakers and playing poker with his buddies.

James is proud of the strong relationships he builds with friends and clients and he always does be best to serve those around him. This philosophy has proven to be successful for him and his clients.
